I have to compare my project which simulated the formation of a rectangular plate to a pipe by applying displacement in multiple steps in both ABAQUS Standard (static simulation) and ABAQUS Explicit.
Unfortunately, I do not know why the results are completely different. I would really appreciate your help.

Surely, you will obtain different results it depend in the accuracy for each software.
However, You know if you change the mesh for the same software, the results should be different. Therefore, you must check the boundary conditions and the mesh. If the B.C. are the same it should obtain results with plus and mince 10%.
By way I was used the education Virgin for the ANSYS to solve some problem and in the same time I was used the full virgin for the ANSYS to solve this problem with the same B.C. I was obtained different results.

It seems the B.C for your static simulation is completely different with explicit one. Can you say more about simulation details?
I agree with Amir. There are usually differences between standard and explicit but are nowhere near as pronounced. Please make sure the boundary conditions, loading, meshing and interfaces are all defined in the same way.

Your static mesh seems to be very coarse. What's your element type? You may suffer from shear locking.
