While conducting structural assessments using smartPls the path coefficient, some negative value of path coefficients (Or β-value) are appeared! Why did these negative values appear, and how I can solve this problem since the required values must be greater than 0.1? Please help me to solve this problem, with great appreciation!

When you go to that site a lot of more useful things pop up
Its absolutely normal to have negative path coefficients in PLS SEM.
As per Hair et al. (2012) The software standardizes the data.
As a result, the algorithm calculates standardized coefficients between
-1 and+ 1. Path coefficients close to + 1 indicate
a strong positive relationship (and vice versa for negative values).
The important decision should after running the significance test.

Another explanation for a negative relationship is probably presence of another very strong predictor. In the recent past, I experienced that a predictor had a positive significant relationship with the dependent variable (say IV1). However, when a another predictor (IV2) was introduced to the model, the relationship of IV1 with DV turned negative, which was not possible theoretically.
Ali Farooq I completely agree with you. I faced similar problem while running my structural model, still working on that . Kindly share/ recommend reference for the same.Thanks in advance.
