I tried to import liner perturbation results into riks for nonlinear buckling modes. For the non-CZM model, it works well. But with CZM contact, there is a serious element distortion issue. I attached the output 3D view image here. Does any people know what the reason might be? Thanks!

U can import imperfection by edit nodes coordinate in some direction(using phyton)

According to the Abaqus/Documentation you can use the *SECTION CONTROLS option to do one or more of the following: (a) specify whether elements must be deleted when they are completely damaged, (b) specify a value of the scalar degradation parameter at or above which elements are assumed to be completely damaged, and, (3) in Abaqus/Standard, specify the viscosity coefficient that controls the viscous regularization.
Check the option *SECTION CONTROLS,VISCOSITY= first, where is equal to the value of the viscosity coefficient used in the viscous regularization scheme.
If this does not work, try with other parameters of the *SECTION CONTROLS option.
Attached you can find a template of Abaqus input file options that should work for your case. Let me know if your problem is resolved or not.
