I am doing an experiment of xanthen polymer with 2% chrome alum. Before adjusting the solution, it looks good. when added NaOH up to pH 7 no changing occurs but when pH rises to 8, it becomes precipitate. I have to get same solution at pH 9 without precipitation. Please suggest me some additive

I don't think thats possible. You will precipitate Cr-hydroxide as soon as you go below pH 7. I don't think even a complexing agent will prevent this.

Usually I am using 0.5% of xanthen sample with 2% chrome alum for Cross linking gel. A good gel formation takes place at pH 7 by adding 1N NaOH, but when pH increased to 8 gel becomes a very thin liquid or it loses its viscosity. so how can maintain the gel strength at 8.5 pH at same condition. i.e with 0.5% xanthen sample with 2% chrome alum. Actually the experiment is based on drilling fluid. Please suggest me.

I don't know how the crosslinking mechanism works on xanthene but obivously it does not work in an alkalic environment, so variating the proportions will not help you.
I suggest using a gel forming agent which works in the alkalic region. Acrylic disperions will gel strongly when adding alkalic agents like NaOH or amines.
