You can use petroleum ether and chloroform. For storage n-hexane is preferable.

You may  use solvents like  Petroleum ether, n-hexane,disopropyl ether or Iso-Octane.

What is the intended use?  

N-hexane and methylene chloride are the solvents that I' ve used for dissolving long chain fatty acids of fish.

You can use petroleum ether and chloroform. For storage n-hexane is preferable.

I use choroform and methanol, but for storage n-hexane is better.

You can use acetone, toluene or n-hexane
