The pollution levels are a constant nuisance in cities where there is lot of industry and vehicles and other man made reasons.We all know that and the situation on the onset of winter becomes grave because of lethargy in air circulation and the pollutants finding optimum temperature conditions to hang on.
Nature provides recyclable solutions for humans and animals to live comfortable with plants and vegetation because what humans require is given by plants and what plants require is given by animals. Thus Co2-O2 cycle via photosynthesis has allowed humans to live comfortable through such natural cycles.
But now you require additional "devices" who survive on pollutants and return us Oxygen. There is a great need to focus our attention to solve the problem of pollution by introducing a new "unnatural" cycle which will supplement the natural cycle.
Any ideas on that?

Very pertinent question. The creeper Pothos grows quite fast giving out red stem with brilliant green leaves, which is used as fodder< especially for milk animals & the leaves can be used by humans for preparing vegetable dishes & curry. As its growth rate is substantial, naturally it should be using amounts of CO2.
Moreover the creeper gives a very good green cover over buildings. The plant can be grown with a 3" cuttings.
Forgot to add Bamboo, which grows at the rate of almost 4 feet per day. Naturally as its biomass increases, so does its capacity to assimilate CO2. It appears that it gives out 30% more of O2 during photosynthesis. It has the ability to imbibe heavy metals & is strangely is termite proof.
@ Chandravadan Trivedi you have really reminded bamboo which grows very rapidly but may be it requires lot of water too.
Yes, growing Bamboo does require water, but at the same time, it has better ability to increase biomass faster incorporating heavy metals in its somatic body.
Some trees and plants are considered nature's most efficient CO2 absorbers, also, the CO2 could be sucked from the atmosphere with resins and artificial trees and recycled back into synthetic materials like alcohol .
Let us explore if some studies exist about which trees or plants like bamboo in combination with other species can be replaced with the usual trees and plants grown in cities and road and either side of highways which absorb all possible pollutants in addition to CO2.
