Currently I am being treated for age-related wet macular degeneration with ailea. Having received four inoculations so far with that drug, I can attest to the fact that I have had no side effects while the ailea is much improving the quality of my vision.

Psychologically, it feels almost miraculous to be able to read again with my left eye: imagine a researcher in the Humanities suddenly unable to use his organ of sight, and gradually reenabled in about a day and one half. I will say that some patients receiving ailea injections in the retina have complained to me about the painfulness of the inoculations, but this is rather a function of the retinologist´s or ophthalmologist's skill than of the drug itself. For myself, I have a skillful retinologist. The pain at worst is intense, yet lasts only three seconds at most, and is certainly worth undergoing for the blessing of restored vision. Another issue is periodicity: how often to administer those inoculations. This varies with the patient. In my own case, it takes about 6 weeks for the ailea to wear off.
Dear Nelson, I have a problem left eye, too. After terrible flu I had complication- retinitis (serous). Doctors cured me with antibiotics, including actovegin - injections in the field of eye, ozon (intravenously), magnets.It will be interesting to know, if Eylea may be used in my case. I read about this medicine -it's new for us.I don't know if it's in selling.Side effects may be as allergia.

Artistic eyes like yours deserve to see because they see so much. Retinitis means inflammation of the retina. My case differs from yours: it is age-related macular degeneration. Therefore it is not inflammation, which is organically related, implying the presence of a bacteria. This is why your doctors have injected your left eye with antibiotics.
The reason for using aileia is to stop the flow of fluid out of the vessels of the eye. When fluid enters the eye, vision becomes impaired. The question in your case is whether your vision is impaired because of excess liquid in your eye. The answer seems to be no. However, I have seen an article to the effect that ophthalmological medicines are increasing in quality and number at an exponential rate. adrreports.eu lists the number of cases for eylea to be 1486, 479 of these are related to reactions locally in the eye, and a small proportion of cases are related to cardiac reactions, around 35 for infarction. For stroke there seems to be around 50 cases of cerebral infarction. However this should be interpreted with caution as these numbers do not guarantee causation or provide information about the prevalence of these side effects.
