For several years we are investigating hyaluronic acid and related polysaccharides with the aim to develop modern scaffolds for the treatment of poorly healing wounds. For the continuation of this work we are looking for cooperation partners in academic institutions or pharmaceutical industry.
The first step should be the development of a research concept to find a sponsoring with public funds followed by the development of a research project.
Now I am working to develop a multifunctional nanofibrous wound dressing from alginate and CMC.
We are working in he field of scaffolds for tissue engineering since several years. So far we've been looking at the properties of scaffolds made of poly-L-lactic acid. In any case, we will be intereste in a cooperation in that subject. You can have a look to our publication to see whether there are possible interactions
We are a research group B5IDA (Bio-Eng, Bio-polymers, Bio-Compatibility, Bio-degradation and Biomimetic) also interesting in design hydrogels and scaffolds for Tissue Eng. We are doing first step using blends and copolymers between polymers like PLA, PPDX and PNIPA with Polysaccharides (starch, chitosan and hyaluronic acid). You can do a look to some of our publications.
I could help you. We had experience in it and we had successfully developed such HA containing matrices for a startup company.
It is an interesting idea. My group have carried on hybrid biomimetic scaffold base on polysaccharide and protein for tissue engineering. It should be good opportunity to share and learn each others.

We could be interested. Weare a very multidisciplinar group with wide experienece in mechanical and structural scaffold characterization. Related with the in vitro experiments we have several bioreactor for uniaxial traction/compression stimulation experiments and we also develop our own bioreactors. We have also very wide experience in computational simulation of scaffolds and tissues.

We are working in the field of scaffolds for tissue engineering via non conventional fabrication techniques (solid freeform manufacturing a.k.a. rapid prototyping) since several years.
