Which sample (solid manure or mixed in fluent) is preferable for testing in laboratory for evaluating the bio-gas digesters performance using parameters such as; MC (moisture content), TS( total solids), Vs(volatile solids), C (organic carbon),N (total nitrogen) so on.

I think, animal dung is the better sample for evaluating bio-gas digestres as it has high methane producing potential. But you have to optimize the factors like pH, temperature, substrate loading rate, hydraulic retention time (HRT), C/N ratio and mixing.
