Hi everyone!
I am planning to perform a pull-down experiment in order to isolate biotinylated oligonucleotides using srteptavidin-coated magnetic beads. Since I have never performed this kind of experiment, I don't know which is the best choice regarding the type of magnetic beads. What I need is a high binding affinity and as low aspecific binding as possible.
I selected these two types of magnetic beads:
- Pierce™ Streptavidin Magnetic Beads, 1 ml, Catalog number: 88816
- MagnaBind™ Streptavidin Beads, 5 ml, Catalog number: 21344
Which is the best choice? Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you very much!
