Obviously both Theoretical and experimental researches are necessary for improving human life. It is also needed to handle upcoming problems, effect of new generation technology on human life. Also there is need of research on human psychology, social issues, stress management, education, health issues, awareness and many more (for improving human life).
Of course experimental, especially Medical research, precisely in the field of cancer diseases.
The main point from the researches is to improve the human life, I think it doesn’t matter if it was a theoretical or an experimental research.

Yes, any type of research that contribute to good for human life, is great, either it is theoretical or experimental.
In my own opinion, both experimental and theoretical research are able to improve human life.
Experimental and Theoretical Research are important. Often, theoretical research do not underestimate. However, this view of theoretical research is not correct. For example, in physics, theoretical research allow us to understand the nature of physical processes. Based on these research, experimenters and engineers create new devices that make people's lives better. For example, on the basis of the laws of quantum mechanics, they are currently trying to create quantum computers. Quantum computers will lead to significant progress in all areas of science and technology.
Both of them. There are many theoretical investigations without which it would not have been possible to direct an experimental one.
