I would like to make a schematic diagram of my experimental set up which is used for drying purposes, consisting of a cabinet box with the drying product, some test equipment attached to the wire.
Does anyone suggest the best software to be used for this purpose?
If you are adept at CoralDraw, it is better to draw with it. However, if u don't know CoralDraw, employ MS Word can also be used for making schematic diagrams.
Check out the Edraw max software... illustrator and Tikz are also recommend

It is free and easy to use, no installation is needed.
Actually, there are different programs for drawing schematic diagrams such as Inkscape, Edraw max, and Powerpoint. For me, I do prefer drawing using Inkscape and Powerpoint; however, Powerpoint seemed most appropriate for me.
One advantage of Edraw max is the availability of components blocks with modification, such as heat exchangers and so on.
