Hello, I am currently analyzing the population structure of migratory passerine birds at a stopover site. The samples were collected at the stopover site, so they do not strictly meet Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium (HWE). I used both STRUCTURE and DAPC for this analysis, and both methods suggested K=2 as the optimal number of clusters. However, there are differences in the assignment results between the two methods. The Fst value from the STRUCTURE results is 0.0435, while the Fst value from DAPC is 0.0788. In this case, would it be more appropriate to rely on the DAPC results?
