Home office during the Corona pandemic has changed the workflow of project management in our research group - things have become much more cumbersome.
Therefore we are looking for a project management tool.
We need limited functions - but these should be easy and intuitive to use:
- A project structure (certain people have access to certain projects)
- Assignment of ToDos
- Definition of milestones
- A gantt chart to visualize milestones
- Compatible with linux mac and windows
Would be great if you could share your experiences/suggestions/dos and don'ts.
There is a lot of project management software on the market with these features and from my own experience I will recommend MS Project, Asana and Wrike for the above needs. It seems to me that only Wrike doesn’t have the ability to manage milestones while others have that feature. Also, you can use the Asana for free for a team of 15 members.

When i was working as a consultant for a dairy company, i used the microsoft projetc software, it is easy to use, it does not have considerable investment cost.
