As far as I know, H2O2 is not a good control since the results are highly variable from an experiment to another. The solution used to test H2O2

effect should be prepared reshly before each experiment. I never used menadione but cumene hydroxyperoxyde

Thanks a lot for your answer, Dominique. I’ll keep it in mind. I know some researchers also use Antimycin A. However, after reviewing the literature, it’s not entirely clear to me which positive control is superior. Nonetheless, I’ll give it a try. Thank you!
