I am trying to verify the experimental results on triaxial compressive loading on concrete cylinder using Concrete Damaged Plasticity Model, but I am not able to get results as expected..
Getting much stiffer stress strain behavior compared with experimental results.
for reference please look at attached image.(concrete strength= 42MPa, confinement pressure = 200 MPa)

you should take into account that for verifying a numerical model by the experimental one using CDP model, you need to change different parameters such as mesh size, concrete and steel strain, Kc, dilation angle, etc and then investigate the results. by the way, following references can help you to develop a numerical model properly:

But still I am not able to get the stiffness degradation as required, by changing parameters only I am able to control the ultimate strength. I am analyzing plain concrete cylinder under triaxial loading.

I think the following paper can also be very useful for determining the parameters of the CDP model. It has been recently published by Professor S. Oller. I think it's a good methodology reference.
