I need to start modeling of pool boiling heat transfer with small bubble generation (low superheating temperature). So, which model should I start with? I am looking to model this case in Fluent Ansys 18. the test chamber is a rectangular 2D geometry with adiabatic sides and heating base and outlet pressure. I am really looking to hear from you.
The modeling should conjugate heat transfer, bubble growth and gas interface capture. I believe you should use the VOF model . Keep in mind to add a correction of surface tension.

Dear Dr. Mounir, as I road in fundamental of multiphase flow modeling VOF model is suitable mostly for stratified and separated flows where a distinct interface is present between phases but I want to start with small subcooled bubble as I mentioned in my question so do you think will be match my needs? I am just a beginner with multiphase flow so which model nominate to start with for such case?
VOF (volume of fluid) model is proper for your simulation, heat transfer and bubble growth must be solved separately. Also you must account the free-surface in this model
