Which nanomaterials has good stability in Deionized water ALN or MgO nanoparticles ? I am looking to know the stability criteria for those type if there are some articles regards this mater I hope to look at them. Thanks in advance.
Deionized water is not usually a good medium for stability. Surfactants, as wetting agents, and stabilizers (e.g. phosphate for inorganic oxides) almost certainly need to be present to stabilize a system on the basis of the balance between van der Waals attractive forces and steric or charge stabilization forces.
Dear Dr. Rawle, but surfactants are not usually good for boiling application, I was just looking if there is some one used those nanopowder as a nanofluids in boiling application and what is the stability for those suspensions. I appreciate your answer and thanks very much.
