Is there any new approach to detect Nanoparticles Size, Shape via SEM?

I am looking if there are some suggestion on how to prepare a sample for NPs characterization via SEM. I tried to use dry powder and suspension of (ethanol+NPs) but all my attempts were not successful because the quality of the pic not so good. I am trying to get any good approach to prepare goo sample or any suggestion for setting parameters for SEM? Thanks in advance.
