If Pirt is the best to use, could you explain how to perform it with an example. I'm not the best with equations. I have specific growth rates and rate of glucose consumption, how do I apply these to the model?

if rS is the rate of glucose consumption, X is the concentration of biomass (bacteria) and mu is the specific growth rate, if you represent the ratio rS/X in terms of mu, you must obtain a straight line were the intercept is the maintenance coefficient m and the inverse of the slope is the yield term YG.
