Friends,
I am highly confused for choosing a journal for publication of my research work. I am from horticulture background and did work on plant pigments and their pharmacological importance. So for me pharmacy related journals are priority as most of them are Scopus and SCImago indexed but not mentioned in NAAS list. On the other hand if I go NAAS rated journals most of them are not indexed in Scopus nor have any SCImago indexing (forget the Thomson impact factor). So which journal should be considered for publication.
Thanks Emily, Ok my choice of journal (considering the ease of publication) is scopus indexed but not having Thomson factor, then what to do?...In the international stage NAAS has no value!

You may consider the journal PHARMACEUTICAL BIOLOGY for publication. It is in the area of pharmacology and plant sciences, and has an impact factor of 1.241.

This journal is not an open access one so publishing is for free. As to the time that it takes for the paper to appear in print, it could take three months or more, depending on how quickly the referees are judging the paper.
