I want to test the compound for antibacterial activity and i want to use one or two standard antibiotic. So, please tell me the ideal one which is used by most of the antibacterial testing laboratories for Gram positive and negative bacterias (separate for both as well as same for both bacterias).

Better you should use the standard antibiotics against the test organisms mentioned as per microbiological assay mentioned in Pharmacopoeia of your choice.
What kind of compound are you going to test? I would suggest to also selecting a standard antibiotic which comes close to your test compound (i.e. if your test compound is a quinolone choose a related standard antibiotic, e.g. ciprofloxacin or levofloxacin)). Using this approach, which should also work with other compound classes, you not only run a control in your assay but also get a benchmark for your compound.
I agree with Oliver , and if you test compound related Beta lactam you can used cefalexin .

Clinical Laboratory Standard Institute (CLSI) suggests a couple of antibiotics to be test against clinical S.aureus strains, these antibiotics are listed below: Cefoxitin (FOX, 30 µg), penicillin (P, 10 unit), erythromycin (E,15 µg), clindamycin (DA, 2 µg), linezolid (LZD, 30 µg), rifampicin (RD, 5 µg), tetracycline (TE, 30 µg), doxycycline (D, 30 µg), trimethoprim/sulphamethoxazole (SXT, 1.25/23.75 µg), vancomycin (VA, 30 µg). Cefoxitin result is indicator for methicillin susceptibility S.aureus (MRSA) . i.e. if you detect that your strain is MRSA you should report all beta lactam and beta lactamase inhibitor, carbapenems as resistance even if they are susceptible in disk diffusion method but if the strain is susceptible to Cefoxitin you should report your result as you read it. You can use a antibiotic which is susceptible for the bacteria , a antibiotic resistant will not let you know if your procedure to do testing is done correctly or not.
To control the sensitivity of both these microorganisms, I had used the Ampicillin as a standard antibiotic, as described in publications in attached files.
