Fibroblastic cells should attach much quicker (1-2hrs) than epithelial cells, so you can let them attach and pull off the supernatant which should have your primary cells. Primary epithelial cells typically take 24hrs to attach to the surface.
And on top of what Anthony said, using a mild trypsin will also detach Fibroblasts very quickly while epithelial cells are still attached since they need high concentrated trypsin/EDTA to detach. Using these two steps, you should be able to isolate primary epithelial cells.
