I am trying to set up the click reaction between C18 long chain maleimide and Glutathione(GSH) reduced form. I tried dissolving both in different solvents like DMSO, ACN, Acetone, DMSO-water. Though GSH was soluble in water but there was no way to soluble both. I finally set up the reaction with CHCl3 in which Maleimide was soluble but I couldn't able to solubilize completely my GSH. Could you suggest me some better way to do the reaction?
