OpenFoam is very good and robust

OpenFOAM is quite complicated but once you can manage it, it is the top. Also much better than the commercial software because it is customizable and scriptable.

OpenFOAM is one of the best open-source CFD tools. Please see below.

You can download and install it on several machines for free
You can access and modify the source code and any part of it (turbulence models, solvers, boundary conditions etc...)
It uses the namespace foam with several extensions of C++ for CFD
It is very efficient for parallel computing. (I personally decomposed and ran a case on 200 processors with success)
It comes with several pre- and post-processing tools.
