Interesting question my brother Salam. I think due to the tech-generation, everything including memos of special remembrance are typed, saved and even book-marked for perpetual remembrance. There are diverse ways of storing data now for somehow everlasting times (personally, I enjoy the use of cloud storage systems). However, it is interesting to know that very fond memories written by hand of close friends and relatives are my greatest fond memories. Personally, I feel their presence anytime I hold the sheet they used and read the words they penned with their hands. Interestingly, I read meaning into the patience with which they penned some key words. I hold such hand-written letters, so dear to my heart and they have survived countless years because I have snapshots of them on my digital devices.
In terms of research, I combine both writing and typing. Many of my breakthroughs in research comes when I am meditating solemnly around things in nature or when engaging in leisure activities, especially with children. In such cases, my small notepad and pen are constantly with me. Yet, I eventually transfer the ideas via typing on my digital devices. Best regards
Dear Sir. Ramesh Pandita, I agree with you but according to my experience hand writing is better for remembering than typing, of course with deep touch of this information for your mind
