Right now I'm trying to compile a library of functions that describe response of plant pathogens (fungus) to temperature, leaf wetness, humidity, etc.
I'm searching for approaches similar from Paul Fourie with the Gompertz equations (DOI: 10.1094/PHYTO-07-11-0194)

As far as my experience on entomopathogenic fungi, proteins involved in virulence (enzymatic and non-enzymatic) in addition to antioxidants may be changed. I suggest to contact Dr. Shaukat Ali although he is also working on entomopathogenic fungi.

We have modellled Fusarium wilt progression as a function of soil temperature and inoculum density, the work was published in the paper attached (Phytopathology_97). also we used similar functions to describe the relationship of Verticillium wilt with several abiotic paramenters (Plos One 2014)
