I want to know the concentration of rifampin and kanamycin stock solution and use this concentration to prepare agrobacterium growing media? Anyone can help me?
Usually we use rifampicin at 10mg/L and kanamycin at 50mg/L. I use to prepare Rif stock solution (10mg/mL) by dissolving it in methanol. As Rif gets precipitated during long storage, prepare the stock with minimum quantity.
You can prepare stock solution of 25 mg/ml for Rif while the working solution concentration is 25-50mg/L. And 50mg/ml of Kan stock solution and use 50 mg/L as working solution.

Cocentrations of Rifampcillin and Kanamycin mentioned above are standard, yet it depends on Agrobacterium strain used. Various concentrations in the range 20mg - 50 mg/l or little more may be tested to find out correct concentration for your strain.
