Hello All. I have completed a PLS model and was wondering which combinations of the Big Five I should consider to use when performing interaction analyses. I was initially told to combine two traits that have similar polarity in terms of their correlation coefficients. My question now is which combinations make sense?
1) Extraversion x Neuroticism
2) Openness x Extraversion .... etc ....
Also, I believe in learning from example, so would appreciate it if someone could recommend a good article where this type of interaction analysis has been performed.

I still have the following question though: Do I only evaluate the interaction of the personality traits that load significantly onto a specific latent variable? For example, I have 3 of the Big Five loading significantly onto a latent variable called Information privacy concerns. In this case would the following interactions make sense (note when I say interactions I modelled these as moderators):
1) Openness x Conscientiousness
2) Conscientiousness x Neuroticism
3) Neuroticism x Openness
Not sure how to do a three way interaction in SmartPLS unless I am doing the whole thing incorrectly.
