Hi, I am working on a project concerning maintenance processes with the help of Augmented reality, the focus is on the repair of a CAN bus system. The system gives multiple errors: door PLC error, climate PLC error,…, up to even 100 of notifications. When the operator checks the door PLC he will find out that this one is still working and is not causing any problems, same for the climate PLC error. From this, the expert operator will know if the system receives 100s of errors something must be wrong with the CAN. However, this is not mentioned by the system itself. I have to do a fault tree analysis for this system, however as a mechanical engineering student the CAN bus system is not really familiar for me and I can not get experimental knwoledge because of the pandemic.
