Hi! Im studying mitochondial dynamics and I have some doubts about the PINK1 western results. I work with two populations, in one of them we can notice 2 clear bands about 60 and 45 kDa, and I supossed they correspond to the full-lenght and the mature form, respectively, as I found in literature. So far so good, but in the other population, apart from the 45 kDa processed protein, we cannot detect the 60 kDa band and, inspite of that, we detect a 75 kDa blurred band. Its a pattern in all the subjetcs of this population. Does it have any easy explanation regarding to mitochondrial dynamics? Is it maybe a possible problem with that samples?
