Hi everyone
Could someone give me an example of micronutrient-derived loss of imprinting in which the actual change is the hypermethylation of the non-imprinted allele or the hypomethylation of the imprinted allele?
So far i´ve just found that methyl donor deficiency promotes LOI of the IGF2/H19 locus by changing the expression levels of IGF2, but they mention that they didn´t find any changes on the H19DMR (ICR) methylation status between groups, which is what i´m looking for since i want to analyse the transgenerational effect of micronutrient-poor diet.
