There are numerous markers to stain small intestine organoids.
PAS, Ki-67, lysozyme, Lgr5
Surely Lgr5 has attracted intensive attention as a stem cell marker, the good antibody to directly recognize Lgr5 is difficult to obtain. It will be better to establish Lg5-GFP knock in mouse-derived organoids.
I would agree with Go - there are also a number of other stem cell markers suggested for the intestine you could look at if you cant get a good antibody for Lgr5. Off the top of my head look at markers such as Troy, bmi1 and HopX - but have a look at anything by Hans Clever, Doug Winton or Owen Sansom for what they use.
