There is some confusion as to where factor 8 is stored, older text books say that they are stored in alpha granules but none of the recent literature mention this. I alsohave read that they are bound to VWF and in the blood stream. What is the current scientific opinion.

Factor 8 synthesis occurred in the endothelial cells of the blood vessels of the liver so this factor not decrease with liver cell failure and also increase with vasopressin which have receptors on the endothelial cells, then secreted to be bounded with vWF
