I repeatedly found myself google-ing for the ultimate science image (clipart) for my presentations and had to give up many times admitting that there are un-googleable images :). Probably if I had have more time, I could have found something decent, but at these times the clock is always ticking and the deadline too close (... or did I start working on the presentation too late again). Anyway, to avoid this frustration the next time, I started drawing my own images and illustrations. Simple but correct. It should function as a library where I can go and pick the one I need.
I noticed that many other researchers have the same problem, that's why I decided to share the library with everyone. Feel free to read more about it here: http://www.somersault1824.com/science-clip-art/
or go straight to the library here: http://www.somersault1824.com/your-library-of-scientific-clip-art/
I was wondering how you bring in visuals in your presentations? Do you make it yourself too, or do you have other resources? What do you think of my initiative?
Oh, and maybe you think that your topic is not covered in this library. Well, I realized this too, that's why suggestions of users will get priority to get into the library. I add new clipart every week.
