I'd recommend two simulation software for you: AspenPlus and HYSYS.

Both platforms are produced by Aspen Technologies Corporation in Texas, USA. Here is the link:

UNISIM® design suite from Honeywell can be really handy, the latest version includes a built-in module of gasifier. Give it a try

Aspen , Honeywell and KBC (now a division of Yokogawa) all provide very similar versions of Hysys (they were identical in 2002).  They all require you to know the elemental composition and the heating value of the Biomass in order to properly model gasification.  You can create a kinetic reaction rate based if you want but an equilibrium or Gibbs  model with appropriate approach to equilibrium will probably be adequate for most purposes.
