I intend to do weed characterization in my station and help my students know how to identify as well as classify weeds in the field. The only one I have is limited. Thanks for your help.

Check google book.com to download "A handbook on West African Weeds by Akobundu and Agyakwa. It could be useful if you are studying in Nigeria.

The term Weed is interesting and it is subjective to areas. Any plant growing in an unwanted place may be considered as a weed. A Weed in India may not be one in another country. Mostly invasive species are weedy to any place and in most of the floras invasive species are recorded.
