I want to purchase the monoclonal antibodies of VEGF, TGF-beta1, α-SMA and β-actin against rats for my research. Can you suggest the company/brand whose antibodies provide good results? I have good experience with monoclonal antibodies from Novus biological for PECAM and GAP-43. Also I had bad experience with the antibodies from Santa cruz for VEGF, PECAM, GAP-43, eNOS and TGF-beta1. Please suggest, based on your experience, the company/brand whose antibodies provide good results.

First of all, my experiments are ICC only.
I use Beta-Actine from SIGMA A5441. Works perfectly.
For GAP-43, I use the one from Novus Biologicals NB300-143. Staining showed enough specificity.
However, I can't assure you that the prices of thoses antibodies are "low".

VEGF from Abcam and santa cruz.
Abcam antibodies are really good and worth the price
rat antimouse VEGF-A from Santa Cruz (sc-507) for WB of rat samples
anti human smooth muscle α actin Sigma is great for IHC both rat and mouse, may work in WB
rabbit antiTGFbeta1, 2, 3 (human, mouse, rat) Cell signaling ref #3711 for WB
mouse anti B_actin santa cruz( sc8432) for WB (in human, mouse, rat samples)
