I am looking for an anti-PDGFRb human specific antibody used for IHC that will not cross react with monkey protein. All of the antibodies I find specific to human say they have not been tested for specificity against monkey...does anyone know of one that is?
Do you mean no cross-reactivity with monkey PDGFRb or with other monkey proteins?

Yes, and unfortunately they are 99% homologous. I was just reaching out to see if anyone has tried/used/ or made an antibody that could differentiate between the two-
It looks like the amino acid sequences from the common monkey species are almost identical to the human protein, so no way can you make a distinctive antibody not cross-reacting to Macaca, Mandrillus, Cercocebus, Chlorocebus, Colobus, Papio, or Rhinopithecus. However, there are isoforms that are less conserved, and the question is how reliable those sequences really are.
