I'm interested in the images of cytological and histological preparations. Where can I find a database of images of cytological and histological preparations?
The Human Protein Atlas portal is a publicly available database with millions of high-resolution images showing the spatial distribution of proteins in 44 different normal human tissues and 20 different cancer types, as well as 46 different human cell lines.
1) The Cancer Digital Slide Archive is a great resource that provides access to The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) whole-slide images. These images are linked with clinical descriptions and molecular data.
I am actually the developer of the CDSA; This site has pathology images, as well as clinical metadata. I will be releasing a new version in the next couple of weeks that has additional capabilities.... so stay tuned.
