I've used the multimer immunoblot analysis and the flow cytometry ristocetin-based platelet aggregation assay, but these are both time- and labour-intensive methods. Can you recommend a plate-based assay for parallel analysis of multiple samples for high-throughput?
consider using a PAP 8E eight channel aggregometers - gold standard for ristocetin cofactor assay rather than an LDT
It depends what type of VWF function you want to measure. VWF collagen binding ability is a plate based assay and relatively simple to perform. VWF- platelet aggregation by RCo can be measured on automated analysers as well as by classic aggregometry. No plate based functional RCo assay is available but one could be developed using a plate reader with shake ability and multiple reads.
