¿What´s the best method for microbial DNA extraction of Theobroma cacao roots?

I want to know What´s the best method for microbial DNA extraction of Theobroma cacao roots because i need microbial root DNA for metagenomic studies, I want to know if there is any suggestion in the weigth of the root crushed with liquid nitrogen, I'm using 0.025 g with MOBIO Powersoil Kit but I'm having trubles with the extracted DNA yield. Thanks a lot.
