I am working on context processing in people with schizophrenia with a protocol in which subjects are asked to press a command whenever they see a target in various conditions (some conditions involving context processing, some not). I found that when compared to controls, they display a large amount of very low RTs in every condition of the task (not only when context processing is involved). I would have expected higher not shorter RTs and wanted to discuss about which (cognitive or behavioral) factor could explain those results according to your opinion.
