To obtain the pure material one must "break the azeotrope", which involves a separation method. I think, after fractional distillation at 78 degree centigrade, you can use a material to break azeotrop point and then continue distillation to remove more ethanol.The addition of a Material Separation Agent, such as benzene to an ethanol/water mixture, changes the molecular interactions and eliminates the azeotrope.
