Looking for websites that provide an overview of the expression/regulation of a particular gene in particular diseases (e. g. expression of an anti-apoptotic factor in different types of lymphoma, leukemia, carcinoma, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, wound healing, etc.) - like an equivalent for biogps.org for diseases. The EMBL gene expression atlas appears a little vague. Where would you look online if you wanted to find out if a gene (e.g. by symbol or accession number) is up/downregulated in a particular disease or associated with certain diseases?
Hi David, sounds great - thank you! Will check the sites out. When looking on biogps.org for instance, there are different libraries available also including disease states, but it is hard to find expression in a particular disease (such as different types of leukemia for instance) and also the probeset quality often seems to be questionable.
