Hi, i used to record mouse behavior with AnyMaze, but if I want to analyze the videos with DeepLabCut or other software I just need the mp4 file, which AnyMaze isn't giving me. Instead I have to export the mp4 file from an AnyMaze file, which is time-consuming and annoying. I would like to record my animals with a free and simple software that just gives me the mp4 files. What do you use?

I second Ethovision or Daniovision depending on the size of the animal of interest. When I was visiting the Faculty of Fisheries at University of South Bohemia they had both programs/ set ups and did some really cool aquatic animal experiments with them.
