What type of PVP to use with BEAS-2B cells?

As a first time BEAS-2B cells user, I have a couple of questions concerning the usage of PVP (Polyvinylpyrrolidone).

1. I have two types of PVP in our lab, 10KDa and 40KDa. Which one is preferable for cryopreservation of BEAS-2B?

2. Do you use PVP at other stages? Some protocols mention adding PVP to trypsin, some protocols don't.
