I am working on spray pyrolysis growth of doped tin oxide films but don't have much experience. I wonder what type of atomizers/nebulizers would work best for thin film growth using the spray pyrolysis deposition technique. Please share if you have experience, suggestions or recommended brands.

The sprayed solution should be passed through a pneumatic nebulizer with a nozzle diameter ranged between 0.3 to 0.7 mm under a suitable gas pressure , where this gas was used as a carrier during the deposition process of film samples

We have been using ultrasonic impact nozzles to fabricate different thin films on various substrates. With this technique, we have improved the deposition yield up to 45 times compared to conventional nozzles. Moreover, these nozzles allow the homogenous and pin-hole free films over large areas.
In ultrasonic impact nozzles, a solution containing precursor materials is fed through the syringe pump. This solution is ultrasonically excited using piezoelectric crystals (inside of the nozzle) to generate very fine droplets. Droplet size, which is in micron size range, can be controlled by the oscillation frequency of the crystal. The droplets are transported by a carrier gas onto a heated substrate, where the precursor thermally decompose and form the thin film.

Thank you everyone! I need some low-cost atomizer that will work at low pressure (5-15 psi). I tried using a nozzle with orifice of 2.4 mm, but it requires high air/gas pressures to get fine atomization, which is not good for optimal spray pyrolysis.
Dear Ahmed Saeed Hassanien, thank you for your kind comments. Do you have any producers to suggest? I have been looking for that kind of small orifice pneumatic or air atomizing nozzles but couldn't find any yet.

Dear Erkan, I know ultrasonic ones are much better but they are also much more expensive. So we are thinking about using conventional nozzles. Thanks for your suggestion.
