Hi Dr. Sacrey, We have actually just published a protocol that we use for the 6-24 month age group. We code RDBM using a procedure in which we present toys which can be manipulated using two hands. Here is a link to the article: http://ac.els-cdn.com/S0163638313000106/1-s2.0-S0163638313000106-main.pdf?_tid=424bcf86-f894-11e2-b015-00000aab0f27&acdnat=1375132823_203d342e5db2b19eec5d96e77f7f966f
We observe preference for reaching from 6 to 14 months using Dr. George Michel's handedness procedure in which toys are presented at both midline, in the air, and shoulder width apart (matching toys). We also present toys at this age group to observe contact and RDBM.
