How many cell should I plate in 35mm dish?

I need to plate SHSY-5Y cell into 35mm dish for the Patch-clamp technique, and the paper said I need to reach the cell confluency about 40-60% . How many cells should I plate? And in advance, I will plate cells on Tuesday and do the patch on Thursday.
